We had something like this (pre-0.8) that simply jar'd the classes 
directory. You have to pick a flavor/build type combo to jar, and assuming 
you don't care about manifest/resources you can get it to work....

The only problem we ran into is you have to put the dependency in an 
afterEvaluate block since the android tasks do not exist at first.
