. “Do you think I am more aware or less aware if I drop acid or take an MDMA trip?”
Well …… this is the rub. Because all sentient beings are unique and therefore there is no normal. When these unique beings contemplate reality and illusion they have been trained to demand a reference point. There is none. When the homeless drunk shouts at the passer buy “your mad” in the world of the homeless drunk he is correct. But equally when the passer buy says “no I am not mad” he also is correct. The truth of this universe is in opposition to human logic and reason. I guess your question wanted a strength forward answer, sorry there is none. Both illusion and reality are defined, created and experienced by the individual. That’s why we have the proverb, “judge not least ye too be judged” it recognises how we fail to see the bigger picture. In the end, all we have left to hang onto is morality and virtue. If we live each moment knowing the bigger picture and actively doing as much as possible to promote and be, morally virtuous. Then the enlighten state of Nevada fills your day. Freedom from the dogma, released from the prison of conformity. Each day becomes a gift to celebrate self realisation. This sate of mind is known as truth. There’s no money and most of society will say you have lost the plot. But that’s pails into insignificance as each day you smile, chop wood and fetch water. You see most humans are not ready for inner peace and harmony. It’s too boring and there is no money in it. But a bit like the conasour, to fully appreciate the self one must refine one's taste. Drugs, sex and money are all ways of sampling the delights of being self but none of these are sustainable. Look into the book of revelation to see just how much darkness must be endured to appreciate the light. We are in fact too comfortable. We have it all, enough drugs, sex and money to look upon enlightenment as a waste of time. For me ……………… it’s all about sustainable solutions to happiness. .
