. . Well ………….. not really
The choice of having a dump on the floor or using the bathroom is again not as it may appear. Dumping on the floor causes many follow- on problems and could render one very much alone. (in a physical sense.) Do we choose ? Are not the circumstance of that apparent choice pre-determined. The obvious consequence of an action, dumping on the floor at your mothers house for example. The obvious consequences of such an action are reveiled by our understanding of patterned behaviour and it’s ability to predict what is going to happen next. Is this free will ? of course one could still choose to dump on the floor knowingly, of the consequence. But even this would be pre- determined by an attitude to convince others of your opposition to convention. Unless you are barking mad of course, in which case they would put you into politics or make you would become a lawyer. (Joking) Free will is as much an illusion as is our separateness from the whole and this, a world of apparent duality. Which of course brings us right back : Illusion is the only game in town because : The body – Is our best guess at real. The spirit – The illusion of mind, tainted by the whispers of the higher self. The soul - Universal collective, indivisible space-time infinite and aware. We are best describe as a unity of the above …………. Free-will is great fun, love it. .
