All, I am looking for management hooks into the CLR that would work at runtime. I know there is a wealth of PerformanceCounters to help with instrumentation, but I am looking for something that will help me tweak behavior at runtime, something along the lines of ICorThreadpool.
I also found WMI support in IIS6, but it's for IIS, not for ASP.NET specific settings. Is there currently no such thing? Is tweaking machine.config and restarting applications really the only option to manage application behavor today?
