I am running VS 2005 with a solution that has 30 projects in it and I am sitting at around 200MB ram usage all of the time. I have 2GB in here and the page file disabled so I can't comment on its usage. Mine seems to sit stable at this amount though. I just tried the Minimize trick and it drops me down to 10MB, then when I open it back up it goes to 100MB. This is certainly interesting. Personally, I just got another GB of ram to make this all run smoother. We have been having endless issues with APS.Net and VB. We are talking with MS about a hotfix for the ASP issues, but have not had any luck yet.

(http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/productfeedback/viewfeedback.aspx?feedbackid= 114c17a2-08ea-41ac-8cfd-9c86a53612df) People from Microsoft say, they already fixed it (last month), but only in theirs internal branch. Still they are not able to release some hot fix for it for users. (one would cry :'( ). I think this is so critical bug, that the fix should be released immediately, because people can't restart VS every hour (one user said he needs to restart it every 20 minutes).
