Frans, >> As I said before: Keeping the façade that there are NO problems is doing no-one a favor.
A facade is 'a superficial appearance or illusion of something'. I never said there are no problems at all. Don't take my comments out of context. Your post (to another party) stated:
Describe something complex you've done with Winforms or Webforms and tell us you had no trouble; that might be an opinion that would be worth listening to. Does "I dropped a button on a form and wrote a Hello World program easily" describe what you've done?
I gave you my findings. I gave you sizing data in my previous email to show you this is not a small app. It is the second highest ranking suite of tools in its market. It costs in the thousands. It is a very high penetration rate in its market. Therefore, according to your post - my opinion is worth listening to. I am not saying I am right, or that you are wrong. But I am not launching personal attacks either, or claiming you might be lying. >> but I just can't believe you didn't run into any problems. Well don't then. Its no skin off my back. Rephrase: Not to dispute your claim, you indeed might not have seen A LOT OF problems, like I said: if you do different work you run into different issues, but I just can't believe you didn't run into ANY problems. As I said before: Keeping the façade that there are NO problems is doing no-one a favor.
