Well, spurred on by the mention on this list, I installed AnkhSVN this morning to give it a go. Lately I'd just been using TortoiseSVN. (I moved from CVS a couple of weeks ago because it did Very Bad Things to one of my projects.)
Thoughts on AnkhSVN so far: * It's pretty. * It has slowed down Visual Studio file operations noticeably. * It won't let me rename files. I just tried to create a new class by copying an existing .cs file, and then renaming the 'Copy of blah.cs' to the real name. It just plain wouldn't let me rename it to the new name. On the other hand, I've been merrily editing XML and XSD today and I didn't experience any AnkhSVN crashes. So, it's nice to see the SVN icons in VS, but TortoiseSVN has been good enough for me so far and I'm not sure AnkhSVN is worth the slowdown and rename problems for me.
