I'm at the PDC, and we've been given gthe RC of the .NET Professional
Edition.  Anyone robust enough to attend the XP launch here at 7am PDT
thursday will get a retail copy of XP professional as well.
Other things I learned at the PDC:
The COM team members that worked on .NET felt so bad about making Don
Box's "IUNKNOWN" license plate obselete  that they named the process of
"boxing" after him.
