* Delphi creates compiled code (unless you are talking about Delphi.NET)
* Delphi has not changed as much as VB over the years, so it may be a more consistent platform (can also be a disadvantage)
* Provides buffer between you and MS, so if MS continues to make radical changes you will be somewhat insulated.
* Some find Delphi's syntax easier, although I think anyone can get use to any syntax.
* Great freeware libraries.  Most C# libraries seem to be commerical, at least more so than Delphi.

I am sure there are more.  Not sure if any of these are strong enough for you.
