What would work, if your drive is big enough, to create a virtual machine (using VMWare, for example) and install Delphi within this virtual machine. Then with the VMWare player you could just put this on your thumb drive and thus play this virtual machine on any other system. Since VMWare also has Linux-based players, you could also play the same VM on a Linux system!
Downside is of course that a simple VM will already eat up several gigs of disk space. It's doable if your drive can hold 4 GB or more, otherwise it's just too much. I have done this in the past already, though. It works suprisingly well.
