G'day from Hobart,
see subject. I installed Delphi 7 Enterprise with no updates on my desktop
running Ubuntu 10.10 LTS in Wine. Ubuntu has all the latest update since
yesterday, but there is an error preventing me from getting further updates.
I backed up the HDD today (7 hours) to an external HDD.
I plan to use Lazarus in WINE and Ubuntu for X-platform Game development but
need to have Delphi 5 ent and Delphi 7 ent installed in Wine for reference.
D5 Ent install pretty well and I had service pack 2. But D7 Ent has a few AV's
which I ignored (no service pack). I think that there were some missing DLL's.
I was emulating Win XP cos that's the environment I am targeting.
