When people make it happen - as I said, Sun isn't working on it much, and the
Emanicipation project team has made some progress, but I'm sure they would
appreciate more help.   Why don't you go over to their project lists and ask
them how you can contribute?

Doesn't sound that recent to me, especially since the term "Open Source
Software" wasn't created until quite a few years later.
