Yes, just like there are tons of people who would buy their own private airplanes (if the price was right). I can offer you a singleton DVD for about $500. That is the price where I know the investment/effort I will have to go through is worthwhile, based on my guess that the number of people who want this will be between 12 and 15. Sold? Or would you prefer that I instead spend my time on something else in the source tree which benefits everyone? Or are you offering to pay for someone in the project to make/test this DVD? Or are you assuming things get done for no effort at all, and simply being selfish? I suspect this is the case. > We can at least appreciate http://stop-prism.org and Wikipedia to promote > OpenBSD > by highlighting its security awareness. And then there is the price of lollipops in Vienna. I can appreciate that as well, and that it has nothing to do with asking OpenBSD to go through an effort which will be a net loss. If you are trying to get me to invest in making DVDs for you, at a price that is below what the OpenBSD's effort would be worth, you are being ridiculous. You're advocating that we expend effort FOR YOU, but not FOR US, and certainly not for EVERYONE ELSE. If anything, that's precisely why OpenBSD has trouble, we're surrounded by narrowly selfish advocates.
