I am happy someone's saying it (and find the name "Raymondism" quite
hilarious). The ridiculous shrieking style and the embarrassing lack
of political sophistication are two of the most unpleasant things
about the so-called "hacker mentality". IMO they hurt the "hacker"
image quite a lot.
(And when you think about these goofballs, Larry Wall almost begins
to look like a saint.)
