:)

Ironic, isn't it, that Java is marketed this way?

Driod: "LOOK! USE JAVA TO RUN YOUR BACK OFFICE!!"
Client: That's written in COBOL now, and it works just fine.
"WELL, JAVA HAS A BACK OFFICE CLASS AND IT'S S00 K3WL!
JUST PLUG AND PLAY YOUR WAY TO WRITE ONCE RUN ANYWHERE
SOLUTIONS-BASED DRAG AND DROP SOFTWARE DESIGNED WITH THE
LATEST RATIONAL DATA MODELING AND BUSINESS FLOW PRODUCTS!!!"
Actually we just wrote some Perl glue-code to put the report
           writer on the web...
"YOU NEED A JAVA MIDDLEWARE SOLUTION THEN!! YOUR ERP's AREN'T
ENTERPRIZE BEANZ (tm) 2000 (tm)(r) COMPLIANT!!! YOU'LL NEVER
SHARE DATA RESOURCES WITH DAY TRADERS IN UGANDA THAT WAY!!!"
Well, we made a nice profit last year. Did you?
"WE HAD EXPEDITURES OF 1 GAZILLION FUNDED FROM OUR STOCK
PRICING...oh wait. You said profits? *door slam*"

I work for an "e-business" division at a large consulting company that
looks warily upon any non-Java based solutions. The truth is not far
from this at all... :)
