I'd like to point out that appearing on CPAN doesn't imply the module is
open source. This issue came up during during last nights Amsterdam PM
meeting, and one of the CPAN moderators noted that the only requirement
is that the package can be distributed in the same form as it appears
on CPAN. Technically, you can have CPAN modules that disallow distribution
of modifications. In practise, this (luckely) doesn't happen.
