PHP Conference 2:
PHP is installed on more web servers than mod_perl, making it the Web
development language. This year we'll include PHP and Unix, Windows, and
Apache. We'll showcase the latest developments, security, case studies,
large-scale applications development, and best practices.

I didn't know mod_perl was a web development language, I guess I should
check it out :)

But what a nice way of ORA to promote PHP track by going down on mod_perl :(

I didn't expect that from a company producing an open source
conference... I guess it's all about money.

Nat?

p.s. I have nothing against PHP, it's just that I believe that open
source technologies need to help each to survive and prosper, instead of
trying to bite each other. Especially when we talking about publicity
and advocacy. And some"one" like ORA should be smart enough to realize
that and if they cannot promote all oss equally because they still need
to make money, they should at least try not to destroy the image of
those that are less favorite in their eyes.
