could be that this book is exceeding sales projections yet not finding a
place on the top 25 because the other bestsellers are so damn strong.
I hadn't considered this--it's a good point. I was looking at its relative performance in that limited set--better to look at (for instance) Amazon figures and put it into a bigger context. That I'm not immediately going there to look indicates that perhaps I was building on a slender read [sic] to flog a familiar hobbyhorse.
