Hi, I haven't read mail here in about a month, so sorry if this is a late reply.
www.perl.org was designed as a place for both beginners and long-time perl users. learn.perl.org could easily use the perl.org design framework with an emphasis on *learning*, ie books, tutorials, instuctional materials, at all levels. A learn.perl.org site doesn't have to remain beginner-ish if the level of materials is well noted. -lisa
