Although there is not yet full feature parity between v13 and v2009, keep in mind that you can use the two versions simultaneously, and our client libraries make it easy to do so. We encourage you to begin migrating the parts of your code that use functionality available in v200909, as this will make the transition easier down the road. We will be sunsetting v13 services in phases and not all at once. The sunset date of April 22, 2010 applies only to the services for which equivalent functionality exists in v2009, as stated in the blog post. As we launch new services (ReportService, AccountService, TrafficEstimatorService) in the new API, we will give developers at least 4 months before the corresponding v13 functionality will be sunset.
