Hello AdWords API Team, For a small number of keywords, when using the TrafficEstimatorService<http://code.google.com/apis/adwords/docs/reference/latest/TrafficEstimatorService.html>to get the CPC values, all the CPC values returned are 0. If I check these keywords in the Keyword Tool, the CPC values are not 0. I have tried specifying several different maximum bid amounts from $1 to $50 with the same results.
I completely understand that the CPC value will vary between the API and the Keyword Tool, but the API should not return 0 for all the min, max values including the average CPC, averagePosition, clicksPerDay, and totalCost. Is this a bug with the API? Here are a few example keywords: how to make a poached egg (EXACT MATCH) API: $0 Keyword Tool: $1.48 how to talk to a drug addict (EXACT MATCH) API: $0 Keyword Tool: $7.03 Here is a request id returned from one of the request made for the keyword "how to talk to a drug addict". *requestId*: 60dc777a5ddc39845bab2dbe38bed460 Any feedback on this matter is greatly appreciated.
