Actually API and UI results should match, there was a transition period 
where they were not querying the same backend but that is not longer the 
case. 

I couldn't find your request id, perhaps is too old so we don't have it 
recorded anymore, could you provide me with a new request id. In the 
meantime make sure your request uses the same targeting (location and 
language) options and max CPC you are using in the UI, and leave the UI 
daily budget box empty since it is not yet supported by the API.

For example I tried querying the service for [poached egg] with no targeting 
and a Max CPC of $10 and got:

Results for the keyword with text 'poached egg' and match type 'EXACT':
  Estimated average CPC: 2678188
  Estimated ad position: 1.00
  Estimated daily cost: 1100737

Which matches what the UI is giving me.
