Could you clarify what type of email it is sending? If it is sending a notification email, this is to alert the user of the link for notification purposes. However, if it’s a request email, this could be because you’ve set CustomerIdMode to “CLIENT_EXTERNAL_EMAIL_FIELD”, in which case, Client Email is required. If this is not what you’re asking about, could you please clarify your concern?
