I too was waiting a bit until a few more folks had the book in hand. I'm not sure we really need someone to 'lead' though. If we do, I could probably nudge things forward a little. But before beginning in earnest, I need to finish somethin gelse up. Give me a few days.
(William, in case you're wondering, a few of us have decided to read Ranciere's _the Future of the Image_/ Le Destin de l'image) >>> "Brian Jenkins" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 03/21/08 11:15 PM >>> I'm not sure it has dried up. I have actually been reading it and considering contributions to a discussion but also assumed more were waiting for copies than reading at this point. Was anyone in particular going to "lead" the reading? I will probably formulate a response to the first chapter this weekend. -Brian -----Original Message----- From: Mike Mallory [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, March 21, 2008 11:11 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: a suggestion So, the talk of Ranciere has dried up, but I just got my copy from Amazon. Should I shelve it or start reading? Mike Mallory
