Here is the entire last message, your first, then my message, and your reply.

do.

I've been whining to Databack that postings arrive with the paragraph
shattered by line-breaks so I get a long line, then a line with two
words, then a
long line, then a one-word line. But it now occurs to me that it may
not be
Databack's doing, but, rather, the result of a weakness in my AOL
server. So I now
ask listers to tell me if they receive this posting with solid
paragraphs, or
paragraphs shattered by inapt line breaks. (The paragraphs at the
very bottom
have line breaks because they were not keyboarded by me, but copied
from a
received posting.) Many thanks to those who report back -- Cheerskep

Both your message and Derek's copied message came across like the
above: apparently smooth, but actually with breaks at the end of each
line.

I keep message window pretty wide, so the message is broken as you
see. If I make the window very narrow, the lines will be forced into
long and short, like this (because of hard breaks):

xmxmxm xmxmx xmxmxm xmx xm xmxmxmxz xmxm
xmxm xmx xmxmxm
xm xmx xm xmxmxm xmxmx xm xm xmxm xmxmx xmx xm
xmxm xmx xmx xm xm
xmxm xmxmmmx xmmm xmxmxm xmx mxmxmxm xmxm xmmm
mxmxm xmx xmxmxmxm

etc., i.e., no text wrap.
