Maybe he sent some messages off the list that I didn't know about. I
know he sent one to me.
As a free speech advocate, I don't think we should be afraid if
someone starts promoting seemingly reactionary ideas. Personally, I
didn't agree that there is such a thing as Lutheran aesthetics and I
was ready to argue that point with him.
We might as well learn to discuss these things because I've become
aware that the Christian right is trying to groom young people to
become college professors in order to promote their point of view.
Reason is the basis of our civilization and we should be able to
apply analysis to religious ideas.
