We have boxes of things that have not been open since my brother
in law died. We go through this aesthetic emotional experience with
every box we open. The memory of him is sensed anew every time,
toys ,letters, poems, stories he wrote, clocks, photos of his travels.
they all have a different meaning now.

Okay, so answer the question at the bottom:
Then one day she discovers in her husband's closet an
unopened box.
She
opens it and finds a dozen sets of new underwear and socks. She
says, aloud,
"Well, I guess he won't be needing them now," and she bursts into
tears. Was,
by
you, anything sensed anew there? You would call it an "aesthetic
experience"?
You would say, "It IS an aesthetic experience."?
