Actually he believes that we can do it through actions guided by thought,
which will reveal the truth and advance the process of  our (humankind)
becoming human (fulfill the potential of our species)   - his grievous error
was that for a short period  he saw the greater good as being somehow tied to
realizing the destiny of the Volke ( a people tied to a specific place )- in
part because of his belief that our humanity is tied to nature (land) - which
iidentified with the late 19th century re-actionary
anti-modernist-romanticism, which was part of the National Socialist ideology

I have ordered " Poetry, language, thought" - and will begin to discuss it as
soon as it arrives.


Will Heidegger really "have us root our actions in the universals then in the
personal (particular) experience or needs"?

I hope he will show us how we might discern the difference. (or will we need
a
fuhrer to do it for us?)
