One name is as good as any other, I suppose, especially since none of them mean anything. But, just to clear the air here. I have no personal gripe against Cheerskep (I, for one, honestly do not even recall a previous incident involving him -- goes to show, I suppose). I just happen to think that he has been haranguing the list for years now without ever really explaining what he is on about. Worse, he constantly shifts the goal posts of discussions. As I have tried to point out, to no avail it seems, examples that are multiply interpretable, do not demonstrate anything. If I find nothing convincing in his gallery of examples, it is simply because examples are neither art nor argument. There is nothing to find convincing besides my own preconceptions But I think I am finally tired of this kind of discussion. I wish I could say it has been fun. But Cheerskep has yet to produce anything approximating an argument and now resorts to facile defenses and fatuous claims concerning a person he has not met. Fallacy after fallacy. He has yet to address a single criticism I have raised. Let him take his nap. I hope his dogmatism keeps him warm and secure.
