Frances to Joseph and listers...
Allow me to jump into this discussion with perhaps a new starting
point.
The whole set of issues you raised in your question still
frustrates my study.
Your question may be based on inadequate or inappropriate or
illogical bases.
It begs for some explanations and definitions to clarify the many
terms used.
-Thing: as an objective existent entity or as a subjective mental
construct?
-Bad: as an umbrella, and as opposed to good or to ugly or wrong
or false?
-Aesthetic: as a nice property of all form, or as the content of
an object?
-Design: as a disposed intrinsic feature, or as an intended telic
action?
-Anymore: as an occurrence in the past and present, and even in
the future?
-That: as an only lofty works in fine art, or as any stuff in
ordinary life?

Joseph Berg wrote on bad aesthetic design...
Is there such a thing as that anymore?
