Duh, yeah. I read all of Conrad fifty years ago. Berg, try to remember that I'm highly educated -- despite being a craft-loving artist -- and am still very smart despite being a near geezer, a knee-jerk caustic who is intolerant of those who use my own fumbles to bring me down a few pegs. But with Conrad, I've passed all the exams long ago. Now, do you have a point to make regarding heart of Darkness? wc
