This will help local governments and local businesses. I am not against it as
long as someone else manages it from the seller’s side.

As a business, I'd assume we all pay our use tax when we buy stuff where sales
tax isn't charged, and this makes it a little easier. For personal stuff... No
idea how I would even begin to keep track of that. It isn't like I'm using an
accounting system to track all my purchases and flag the ones where use tax is
due.

we should have been paying it all along, Its alot like saying "now that I got
caught raping, I have to get consent everytime" No, you were supposed to be
doing that all along, only now your parole means there is oversite

Yeah, not against the idea. I think the court got it right but we will all
pay a bit more because of it.

SureTax and numerous other companies have solutions to this today. With
the ruling, I’m sure storefront software will quickly be updated to integrate
with them. Heck, maybe PayPal will add automatic sales tax additions and
remittances for a nominal fee.

I doubt this will add much hassle but it will restore Main Street vs Mail
Order equality and restore funding for schools, health care, and infrastructure
that states have lost due to the shift in buying venues.

Yeah, this is going to be a huge mess. I am guessing that the credit
card companies or some other their party is going to be the sales tax clearing
house.

I hope WooCommerce does this for me automatically on my e commerce
site...

Yeah, good luck learning thousands of different tax codes. Will it
automatically send payments to each locality too?
