Our last batch of gen2 UE's shipped with firmware version 2.1.4 that fixed
most of the missing features that we liked in gen1 firmware (TR69 URL
filled in, cloudkey, nickname, HTTPS on WAN on by default, snmp, etc.). I
don't recall if 2.1.4 has the restore config option back. We are running
beta firmware 2.2.0 on our gen2 UE's that does have the restore config
feature. I really don't understand why new firmware has not been officially
released for gen2 when they are shipping with 2.1.4 from the factory.
The gen2's have worked well for us. I'm not ordering any more gen1 UE's.
