What sayeth the borg?

Say if we picked something in the latter part of August so the kids can come to
it?

Just talked to my bud. He has some options for you. He can do a private, vip
tour for you and a couple people with lunch included, Or he can do a private
vip tour for about 15 people and include possibly a conference room for a few
hours use, or you can go the full formal route and rent out part of the venue
for a bigger conference. They have rooms that can accommodate about 25 people
or so, or you can rent out part of the lower floor or the whole upper floor.
That last one includes catering and all the stuff that goes into that kind of
service. I'll send you his contact info privately.

Hmmm, I once went to Providence RI just for the clam chowder festival...

So if the Half Moon Bay place does not live up the recommend I could still go
on to Monterrey.

Better still and closer, go to Half Moon Bay and get chowder at the
place at the south end of the airport. Famous chowder...

More of an old fashioned unstructured meet and eat.
Somebody pick a date, we go to the museum and have some food somewhere.
Maybe Forrest can put on a session about his new stuff.
If the museum has a party/meeting space that would be even better.
Kinda like the very first AnimalFarm meetings.

Are you suggesting a conference in the bay area? I'm sure they would love
to do something like that for a donation. They are based on private money so
they are always looking for ways to get donations. Let me know what you have in
mind and I can put you in touch.

I have not been there since they made the new one. Almost
worth a trip to the South bay for that alone.

One of my best friends from HS is the director of the
Museum. Mostly in charge of fund raising and stuff, but he
is a pretty big geek himself.
