Hi Sam,

Here is what we used for Tycon and Netonix and Mimosa equipment. However, the
same thing is not working for Cambium groups. I have they guy looking into
that.

I should have an answer by end of day tomorrow why it won’t pull the OS value
from Cambium radios like it does with the other manufacturers.

Thanks David. I really appreciate it.
Setting up a group...
What do you use for Pattern and Value? The Docs of course aren't that useful
for the Cambium gear.

Hi Sam,

We are still learning, but are pretty optimistic about what we’ll be able to do
with this system.

  1. Yes, that is the OID of the Downlink frame utilization from our other
monitoring system. I haven’t tested it out yet, but a similar rule is working
for our Tycon TPDIN MonitorWebs.
  2. The Map To: is a Device Group that we set up and auto pulled the Cambium
APs into it. That way the rule is applied to all Cambium APs by default.

Feel free to keep in touch, we are just getting our feet wet and I am guessing
we’ll have questions too. I did find a consultant who specializes in LibreNMS.
Seems like he knows his stuff. I had him write us a special, calculated
value based on 5 different OIDs. That thing is going to be a life saver.

Thanks,

David Coudron

David,

Thank you Sir! A couple of questions if you have a moment. Is that the entire
MIB in the second field for frame utilization?
And Under Map To: You have a field labeled Cambium AP. What does that do?
I might have more questions!

Sam

Sam,

I am far from an expert, but we do have a few alerts working in LibreNMS. If
you are doing frame utilization, I am guessing this is on Cambium AP? If so,
we are just messing around setting this up. I think this one will work:

Ok,
I have been diving deep into this and am at a wall. I want to have LNMS alert
me when ANY of my AP's have a frame/downlink utilization go above 90%

Under Alerts Rule, is access_points.radioutil the correct one to choose? Are
there templates for alerts and graphs that anyone wants to share with me?

Thanks
Sam
