I don't think our county is sophisticated enough to be able to legislate
that. They do make a rural exception for the use of wood burning heat. If
you don't have ready access to natural gas, they will allow wood burning.
However, I think they do, or will, remove the exemption if you have access
to propane.
They have some weird rules about water wells, as if they all draw from the
same aquifer. Up here in the mountains, there really isn't an aquifer, so
much as fractured veins of rock.
