I need to pick up a couple large carabiners, but I'm having trouble
finding them.
I'm looking for something like this
in Aluminum (for lower weight) but without that cross piece on the
bottom. These are big carabiners, the gate opens about 2" and it's
about 8" from top to bottom.
All I'm coming up with are Steel, which are 3x the weight, or these with
that pin at the bottom. I've seen some pictures where it looks like the
pin may be removable, but no sites give good details on the carabiners
other than the load rating.
Anyone have a good source for these? Small carabiners are really easy
to find, but the large one's are being elusive for me.
