I don’t see it that way. The whole reason for 5 ghz backup is to go beyond 60G limitations. Operators want to push 1gig 60 ghz over 1km.. 5 ghz backup is the way to make it happen… but you need good rssi in 5 ghz for stable signal against interference… 24db gain min. for 5ghz PTP.

Also, the 60ghz antenna is only 38dbi... I wonder what the physical size of this thing is. That's the same gain as the little Metrolinqs... the bigger Metrolinqs and the Mikrotiks are both 42dbi.
