I’m surprised they are blacklisting entire netblocks.
We saw this from Hulu when a few CPE Mikrotiks got hacked via the Winbox bug and a proxy server installed. But it was individual IP addresses that were in the VPN/proxy blacklist. Since most of our customers get IP addresses from a dynamic pool, whoever got that address next would inherit the problem. I would imagine this would be a big problem for any WISP that NATs whole bunches of subscribers to a single public IP. One customer’s activities could poison that IP for everybody. They are being told they are using an Unblocker/VPN/Proxy. This is total crap. Does anyone have contact information for any blacklist sites/NETFLIX admins or geo database sites to fix this?
