I wonder how these compare with conventional 2 way radio systems. I have been having limited success with MURS color dot and GMRS frequency radios due to range.
I have not yet contacted a regional 2 way operator to get his radios. But I know my guys may travel out of the region he serves. These seem like the ideal solution if they are not terribly expensive to operate.
