I had trouble with EZRJ mainly with Trango, that tells you how long ago it was. The typical problem was the tab not latching. If you pushed a small flat blade screwdriver under the tab and twisted it, the tab would pop into place.
I believe Sullstar (which originated the EZRJ plug and owns the patent) change the tooling to fix the problem.
