a long time ago, WB had an issue with pins not having been cleaned correctly resulting in poor connectivity. since then I always habitually push the rj45s in and out to clear any residue or debris that may or may not be there. adds .5 seconds but eliminates that as a potential issue. may have your guys try that, even natural oxidation in storage could cause an issue
