True story...when we purchased this house in 1998, the kids and I were cleaning the backyard and found a large nesting area with tons of black widows by the back fence. I decided to show my kids how we would use a lighter and hair spray as flame thrower to kill them...opps ..the webs went up and so did the brush behind the fence ! The irrigation ditch levee lite up! We got shovels , put two house together...I have a large backyard....the smoke was worse than the fire....some neighbor narced us out....we had fire completely out out by time fire department showed up. Lucked out ... didn't get fined. .. only a warning.... Ended up buying industrial strength bug poison ...
