Last time I got a new phone, I put it in a super-thin bump guard, and then dropped my glasses on the face when I had it sitting face-up on the counter. I replaced it; the darn thing was only a few days old. After I got the replacement, I put the bump guard back on plus a thin screen protector. Don’t have a screen protector though. When it would drop, it would hit on a corner or an edge. The Fixit guy thought I was crazy the second time for having it fixed because it was still fully functional despite having a crack. Perhaps he was right.
