Many people in some areas don't want to pay more than $50, no matter how fast it is.
On the other hand, work and school during Covid has made 10 or 20 Mbps Internet essential, and I get frustrated at the people who built their house in the middle of a forest. I will happily tell them to call Starlink. I wonder what kind of view of the sky they need, will some people with trees run into a problem if they can only see directly overhead? -----Original Message----- From: AF <[email protected]> On Behalf Of [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, October 27, 2020 10:44 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [AFMUG] Starlink $99/month I don't think Starlink will go in for predatory pricing. They have more customers than they can handle and I'd say they have a strong upward pricing pressure rather than the opposite. However, things could get interesting if they manage to get their hands on large amounts of government subsidies.
