Our local (podunk) Election office gave ink pens, popcicle sticks, stickers, and postits this year. Their reasoning was everyone had their own pen so no one needed to touch theirs, the popcicle stick was for pushing the buttons (did not work well) and the stickers and postits were just fluff.
