That’s the most popular one. No, it does not have powered reverse, you take a turn or two off the capstan and let it slip. And yes it is slow, that is due to the gearing and goes with the load rating.

It is really handy for lowering loads and getting them in just the right position. Our My-Te winch is 15 years old and has certainly paid for itself but it is due to be replaced. I would just get another My-Te but I would like a smidge more load capacity. What winch do you use? Any recommendations?
