Hi Carl;
I had the same questions before and kept on seeking it from them as it
was confusing. Chuck was most helpful with the answers. I used the
800-GIGE-SS-HV on the Ubiquiti AirFiber 24 and Proxim Tsunami radios per
their recommendation. I was quite surprised that they worked with the
Proxim Tsunami series without a problem. Very good product and results.
Very good success with their earlier version of 800-CAT6. We have to
order some of these now. But we had these on our ePMP series, and these
blew before we lost our APs.
We only use these for high valued clients. However we used to use
Cambium's surges 600SS for all customers. But now that these others are
out and cost looks reasonable. We're thinking about using these.
Especially since we've had very good success with these at our tower sites.
Hope that this helps.

We primarily install Cambium 450SMs but now also have one LTU POP
which has moved from Beta to production - using LTU PRO CPE. Trying
to standardize on one surge suppressor for client installs. What are
the pros and cons of each? Primary concern is integrity of the
connection (CRCs, errors, etc).
