You will find this same battery case from a variety of vendors of Alibaba at
various price points with various brand names on it. I’m not sure if they all
come from the same factory, or if someone sells the rack mount cases and others
assemble their own batteries in them. I would not pay anything more than
$1.4/Ah @ 48V on the current market.. Negotiating reasonable shipping will make
a big difference in cost. I’m not a huge fan of the CAN BMS bus, and am looking
forward to someone coming out with an ethernet cable one.

We got a quote from Power & Tel for a 100Ah Narada unit and it was half the
price of a 100Ah PSI unit.

Also found some software that runs on a Pi to remote monitor. Not sure how
good any of it is or what else is out there.

We have 4 of them setup in the fiber hut.

They have a BMS to protect the batteries from overcharging / overcurrenting

I'm looking at a 1200 watt load and would like to see 2 or 3 hours of run time.
 Everything's 48vdc.

I'm kind of leary about using lithium ion since I'm using an ICT power supply
and their system is designed for SLA/AGM.

What kind of things should I be looking for? I thought these looked pretty
good:

https://www.batteriesplus.com/productdetails/battery/sla-sealed-lead-acid/12/wkdc12=80pus

12v*80a=960whr

4 of these = 3840whr

Runtime upwards of 3.2 hours (obviously there will be loss, but shouldn't I
expect 2+ hours)?
