I would call this the Kelly Ann Conway school of alternative facts math. Must be a Utah thing because I've never heard of it.
... and in the thought of "show your work", if you have an alternate answer that is not in the accepted school of math, you had better damn well show how you go to that answer. That will at least give the rest of us a warning about whether or not we need to pay attention to you.
